About the event
Lori is a family physician with a focused practice in chronic pain at the AHS Calgary Chronic Pain Centre, where she works with a large multidisciplinary outpatient team and supports Primary Care Network pain teams in the community. She is a clinical associate professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Anesthesiology, Peri-Operative and Pain Management at the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. A true pioneer in relational approaches to medicine, she is also the Associate Director for Community Practice at the Cumming School of Medicine’s Centre for Mindfulness. She is Community Integration Medical Lead for AHS in Calgary Zone, where her work is focused on developing opportunities for integrated care, including projects in transitions of care and Indigenous health.
